TawkTo to Zoho Integration Guide

With Syncspace, you can automatically send new messages or contact details from Tawk.to directly to your Zoho account—no coding or technical skills required. Your data flows automatically from one platform to the other.
Just follow the steps in this guide, and your Tawk.to submissions will start showing up in Zoho automatically.

 Prerequisites:

Before you begin, make sure:

• You have access to a TawkTo account.
• You have access to a Zoho account (Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, or any Zoho service you’d like to connect with).
• You are logged in to both platforms in your browser.

Step 1 Click on App Credentials

Step 2 Create a New Credential

Step 3 Configure App details

• Add your App Name
• Select Zoho from the Multiselect Dropdown

📝 Note: Copy the URL shown at the top — you will need to paste this into the Home URL field while creating your app credentials.

Step 4 Add your Client ID and Client Secret from Zoho.

If you’ve already done that, continue below to create the space.

📝Note: First, click Verify to ensure the credentials are correct, and then click Save

Step 5 Select your Source App from the dropdown

• Choose Tawk.To

Step 6 Copy the Webhook URL generated for Tawk.to

Step 7 Steps to Verify Webhook URL in Tawk.to

• Log in to your Tawk.to account and go to the Dashboard.
• On the top of the dashboard, click the Settings (gear) icon.

Step 8 A new page will open. In the sidebar menu, click on "Settings" again.

Under Settings, click on Webhook.

Step 9 Click the "Create Webhook" button.

Paste your URL into the “Endpoint URL” field with a name

🔔 Note: Choose chat events like “chat-end” if you want to receive the visitor’s details along with their message.

Step 10 Click Save to complete the setup.

Step 11 Start a Demo Chat Session on your website or Twak To widget

Fill in sample user details (name, email, etc.)

Step 12 End this Live Chat Session

Step 13 Go back to your integration space and click Verify Webhook, then Continue

Step 14 Now select your Target App from the dropdown

Choose Zoho

Step 15 Choose "Lead" as the model for Zoho.

Step 16 Select the Zoho account you created earlier while setting up your app credentials.

Step 17 Click on the "Save and Map Fields" button.

Step 18 Match Tawk to fields to Zoho fields

Example: Name → Full Name, Email → Email Address, etc.

 

Step 19 Choose how you want to save your space

You will see two buttons: Save as Draft and Save and Activate.

• Click Save and Activate, your space will be saved and activated automatically.

• Click Save as Draft, This will save your space, but it won’t be active. You can activate it later by following the next steps.

Step 20 From the Action Column, click to Activate Your Space

Step 21 Start another Demo Chat Session on TawkTo

Step 22 End this chat session to trigger the integration

Step 23 Log in to your Zoho account ->Go To CRM and verify that the data has been synced successfully

You should see a new entry created under the module you selected
