Gravity Forms to SendGrid Integration Guide


With Syncspace, you can automatically send new entries from your Gravity Forms directly to your SendGrid contact list—no coding or technical skills required. Your form data flows automatically from one platform to the other.

Just follow the steps in this guide, and your Gravity Form submissions will start showing up in SendGrid automatically.
It’s fast, simple, and saves you time.

Prerequisites:

  • You have access to both a Gravity Forms-enabled WordPress site and a SendGrid account.
  • You are logged in to both platforms.
Step 1 Dependencies : Activate Webhooks Add-On in Gravity Forms
  1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Gravity Forms Add-Ons Page and Locate the Webhooks Add-On

    • In the left sidebar, click on FormsAdd-Ons.

    • Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find Webhooks Add-On.

  3. Activate the Add-On

    • click Activate to enable the Webhooks Add-On for use with your forms.

Step 2 Go back to Syncspace and logged into App Credentials

Click on App Credentials

Step 3 Create a New Credential
Step 4 Configure App details
  • Add your App Name
  • Select SendGrid from the Multiselect Dropdown
Step 5 Add your SendGrid API Key and click Verify

If you’ve already done that, continue below to create the space.

Step 6 Click on Add Space to create a new space
Step 7 Select your Source App from the dropdown
  • Choose Gravity Form
Step 8 Copy the Webhook URL generated for Gravity Form
Step 9 Steps to Verify Webhook URL in Gravity Forms
  • Log in to your WordPress dashboard where Gravity Forms is installed.

  • In the sidebar menu, Under the Forms section, click on Entries.

Step 10 Once the Entries page loads, Hover on the Settings tab at the top.

From the Settings dropdown, select Webhooks.

Step 11 Click on" Add New" Webhook.
Step 12 Paste the Webhook URL into the Request URL field

Click Save Webhook settings to store the configuration.

Step 13 Now, click on Preview to open and fill out the Gravity Form.

⚠️ Important: Submitting a test entry is mandatory to verify that the webhook is working correctly.

Step 14 Submit a test entry and verify the webhook connection.

Submit the form

Step 15 Go back to the integration platform and click Verify Webhook, then click Continue
Step 16 Select your Target App from the dropdown
  • Choose SendGrid
Step 17 Choose the "Contacts" as SendGrid Model

Example: Add Contact to a List

 

Step 18 Select the SendGrid account you created earlier while setting up your app credentials
Step 19 First Save then Click on Map Fields
Step 20 Match your Gravity Form fields to the correct SendGrid fields
  •  Example: Name → Full Name, Email → Email Address
  • Save the mapping configuration later
Step 21 From the Action Column, click to Activate Your Integration Space
Step 22 Submit another Demo Form Entry using Gravity Forms
Step 23 Log in to your SendGrid account and Check new contact in your list
  •  You should see the new contact added from the form submission
