Gravity Forms to Mailchimp Integration Guide

With Syncspace, you can automatically send new entries from your Gravity Forms directly to your Mailchimp audience—no coding or technical skills required. Your form data flows automatically from one platform to the other.
Just follow the steps in this guide, and your Gravity Form submissions will start showing up in Mailchimp automatically.

Prerequisites:

  • You have access to both a Gravity Forms-enabled WordPress site and a Mailchimp account.
  • You are logged in to both platforms.
Step 1 Click on App Credentials
Step 2 Create a New Credential
Step 3 Configure App details
  • Add your App Name
  • Select Mailchimp from the Multiselect Dropdown
Step 4 Add your Mailchimp API Key with Audience ID and first click Verify then Save

If you’ve already done that, continue below to create the space.

 

Step 5 Click on Add Space to create a new space
Step 6 Select your Source App from the dropdown
Step 7 Copy the Webhook URL generated for Gravity Form

Choose Gravity Forms

Step 8 Steps to Verify Webhook URL in Gravity Forms
  • Log in to your WordPress dashboard where Gravity Forms is installed.

  • In the sidebar menu, Under the Forms section, click on Entries.

Step 9 Once the Entries page loads, Hover on the Settings tab at the top.

From the Settings dropdown, select Webhooks.

Step 10 Click on" Add New" Webhook.
Step 11 Paste your webhook URL into the Request URL field.

Click Save Webhook to store the configuration.

Step 12 Now, click on Preview to open and fill out the Gravity Form.

⚠️ Important: Submitting a test entry is mandatory to verify that the webhook is working correctly.

Step 13 Submit a test entry and verify the webhook connection.

Click on Save the settings

Step 14 Go Back to your Space ,Verify the webhook URL and then click on continue
Step 15 Select the Target App from the dropdown

Choose Mailchimp

Step 16 Choose "Lead" as the model for Mailchimp.
Step 17 Select the Mailchimp account you created earlier while setting up your app credentials.
Step 18 First Click on save and then Map Fields
Step 19 Match your Gravity Form fields to Mailchimp fields

Example: Name → First Name, Email → Email Address

Save the mapping configuration later

Step 20 Go to the Action Column and click Activate your Space
Step 21 Submit another Demo Form Entry via Gravity Forms
Step 22 Log in to your Mailchimp account and check under Audience list

You should see the new contact/subscriber added
