Send Google Ads Leads Form Entries to SendGrid

Prerequisites:

  • You have access to a Google account with Google ads Leads form set up and a SendGrid account.

  • You are logged in to both platforms.

Step 1 Click on App Credentials
Step 2 Create a New Credential
Step 3 Configure App details
  • Add your App Name
  • Select SendGrid from the Multiselect Dropdown
Step 4 Add your SendGrid API Key and click Verify then save it

Step 5 Click on Add Space to create a new Space
Step 6 Select your Source App from the dropdown

Choose Google Ads leads form

Step 7 Copy the Webhook URL generated for Google Ads Leads form

To paste webhook url in a Google Ads lead form , follow the steps below-

  • Go to Google Ads – Log in at ads.google.com.
  • Click on “Assets” – From the left menu, select Assets.
  • Select “Lead Form” – Click on Lead forms under Assets.
  • Choose or Create a Lead Form – Edit an existing form or click + to create a new one.
  • Scroll to “Lead Delivery Option” – Scroll down to find the Lead delivery option section
  • Click on “Webhook” – Select Webhook as your delivery method..
Step 9 Paste your Url and Key here
  • Paste Your Webhook URL – Enter your Webhook URL in the field provided.
  •  Add a Key – Enter a verification Key if required.(Optional)
  • Test the Webhook – Click Send test lead to confirm it’s working.
  • Click Save – Hit Save to complete the setup.
Step 10 Select your Target App from the dropdown

Choose SendGrid ->

Step 11 From the dropdown, choose “Contact” as the model to add or update a contact in SendGrid.

Choose Account from your saved app credentials, just like you did in the beginning.

Step 12 First Save Your data then Click on Map Fields
Step 13 Match your Google Ads Lead Form fields to SendGrid fields

Example: First Name → Full Name,
Email → Email Address

Step 14 Save the field Mapping Configuration
Step 15 From the Action Column, Click to Activate Your Space
Step 16 Log in to your SendGrid account → Go to your Contact list

You should see the new contact added from the chat interaction

Step 17 Your Google Ads Leads Form has been successfully synced with SendGrid.✅

From now on, whenever a lead is submitted, the data will be delivered here automatically.
